Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol
Daniel E. Zak, 29, of the of the 2200 block of Barrington Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 1:11 a.m. at Blanchard Street and Briarcliffe Boulevard on a charge of DUI. He posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.

Bicycle Stolen
A resident reported at 2:01 p.m. that between noon Oct. 21 and noon Nov. 21, 2013, someone stole his mountain bike from outside his Wheaton College residence hall on the 600 block of North Howard Street. Value was estimated at $150.
Tablet Computers Stolen
Between 8 and 8:15 a.m., someone stole two tablet computers from a classroom at Wheaton North High School, 701 W. Thomas Road. No value was reported.

Laptop Stolen in Vehicle Burglary
Police were dispatched at 10:20 p.m. to Fox Bowl, 1101 E. Butterfield Road, on a report of a vehicle burglary. According to the report, someone broke the rear driver-side window of a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban and stole a black, leather work bag containing a laptop computer valued at $1,400.
Criminal Trespass
Julie C. Brown, 46, of the 1500 block of Jewell, St. Charles, was arrested at 7 p.m. at the Wheaton Police Department, 900 W. Liberty Drive, on a charge of criminal trespassing based on an incident that occurred Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013. She posted bond and was released.

Hit and Run
Michael S. McFarland, 36, of the 18W000 block of Standish Lane, Villa Park, was arrested at 7:12 p.m. at 15 Danada Square East on charges of hit and run, driving on a suspended license, and no insurance. He posted bond and was released.
MONDAY, NOV. 18, 2013
DUI
Alissa M. Andres, 42, of the 700 block of Kingsbrook Glen, Glen Ellyn, was arrested at 8 p.m. at Front Street and Liberty Drive on a charge of DUI. She posted bail and was released pending a court appearance.
Possession of Fireworks
Ryan E. Sola, 26, of the 1000 block of Kent Court, Wheaton, was arrested at 2:15 p.m. at his home on a charge of possession of fireworks. He posted bail and was released.

Cannabis Possession
Timothy J. Wisek, 38, of the 5400 block of Aspen Avenue, Portage, Ind., was arrested at 1:15 p.m. at 2130 W. Roosevelt Road, on charges of possession of cannabis, driving on a revoked license, and no insurance. He posted bail and was released.

Nico A. Galta, 23, of the 100 block of North Morgan Avenue, Wheaton, was arrested at 5:25 p.m. at Dawes Avenue and President Street on charges of possession of cannabis, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He posted bond and was released.

2 Face Cannabis, Drug Paraphernalia Charges
Nicole K. Mroz, 22, of the 00-99 block of Wheaton Court, Wheaton, was arrested at 11:50 p.m. at Carlton Avenue and Childs Street on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Samantha J. Swaney, 21, of the 32400 block of Village Green Boulevard, Warrenville, also was arrested on a charge of possession of cannabis. They both posted bond and were released.

Girija P. Subedi, 18, of the 300 block of Blackhawk Street, Aurora, was arrested at 8:47 p.m. at Illinois Street and Lorraine Road on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. She posted bond and was released.
Cannabis Possession
Duane D. Glover, 41, of the 21000 block of Zausa Drive, Crest Hill, Ill., was charged at 1:03 a.m. at Main Street and Seminary Avenue with possession of cannabis. He posted bond and was released.

Felony Drug Possession
Andrew L. Jones, 55, of the 100 block of President Street, Wheaton, was arrested at 9:03 p.m. at his address on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance, and possession of hypodermic syringes or needles. He was transported to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office.
