Police Arrest 2 Suspects in Christmas Day Burglary

Wheaton Police recover goods stolen from house on Indiana Street.

Wheaton Police arrested two suspects in connection with a Christmas Day residential burglary.

David L. Johnson, 25, and Sidney I. Barrow, 18, were arrested in connection with a burglary at a home on the 2600 block of E. Indiana Street. No one was home when the burglary occurred. Responding to calls from neighbors who observed “suspicious circumstances,” police discovered that the alleged suspects entered the home through a basement window that was forced open. Multiple items of property were taken including three televisions and a cell phone. Detectives conducted a follow-up investigation, which lead to the recovery of several stolen items and the arrest of two suspects.

After investigating, Wheaton officers arrested Johnson and Barrow, both of Wheaton, on Dec. 26.
