Wheaton Man Charged With Videotaping Minor

Timothy Zak of Wheaton was charged Friday with videotaping a minor in August, court records show.

A Wheaton man is charged with illegally videotaping someone under the age of 18, according to Will County court records.

Timothy Zak, 45, of the 800 block of Johnstown Lane in Wheaton was arrested and charged in Will County Friday, Oct. 26 after a warrant was issued Oct. 4. According to court records he is charged with one count of illegal videotaping of a minor and one count of video/residence/victim under 18, both Class 3 felonies. The offense occurred Aug. 1, court records show.

Zak posted 10 percent of his $20,000 bond to be released from Will County Jail Friday night.
