Wheaton Man Charged With Fleeing, Eluding Geneva Police

A 41-year-old Wheaton man is headed to court after police observed him make several driving offenses in Geneva, according to reports.

Durand Parish was charged with the following at 1:37 a.m. July 14:

  • Operating a vehicle with an expired registration 
  • Failure to yield to an emergency vehicle
  • Fleeing and eluding police
  • Passing the crossing line of a no-passing zone 
  • Improper use of registration 
Parish was arrested on the 1800 block of East State Street, according to a police report. He has an Aug. 20 court date at the Kane County Branch Court, 530 S. Randall Road, St. Charles.

Parish was charged again later that night with unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful display or alteration of a registration sticker, according to DuPage County court records. Police arrested him at 2:16 a.m. July 14 on the 1400 block of County Farm Road, according to Suburban Life Newspapers.

Parish's next DuPage court date is Aug. 14.
