Wheaton Man Charged With Child Porn a Sexual Predator, Registry Shows

Randall Weeks has been a registered sexual predator in Wheaton since 2005, according to the Illinois sex offender website.

The 49-year-old Wheaton man charged last week with 15 counts of aggravated possession of child pornography has been a registered sexual predator in Illinois since 2005, according to the Illinois sex offender website.

Randall Weeks, of Juniper Lane in Wheaton was charged May 9 as a result of an undercover operation conducted by Wheaton police detectives, with the assistance of the DuPage County Sexual Predator Electronic Exploitation Division.

Court records show he plead guilty in 2005 to charges of possession of child pornography.

He is currently being held at the DuPage County Jail on $500,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in DuPage County Court Monday, June 3.

A search of the Illinois Sex Offender Registry links 20 registered sex offenders to the city of Wheaton, and 12 living in Warrenville. There are three registered sex offenders listed as homeless in Wheaton. 

All but one of the offenders are compliant with the laws. Noel Tochimani, convicted of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim under 13, "has failed to maintain accurate registration records as required by law," according to the Illinois sex offender website.
