Wheaton police reports, Aug. 14-19

SUNDAY, AUG. 19

DUI

Police charged David Kraus, 50, of West Chicago with driving under the influence of alcohol. Kraus drove a red 1997 Mazda near the intersection of Community Drive and Roosevelt Road around 7:45 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

DUI

Police charged Jeanne Debroeck, 55 of Naperville with driving under the influence of alcohol. Debroeck drove a blue 2005 Ford Escape in Danada Square West around 11:45 p.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

Underage Drinking

Police charged Bujee Jargalasaikhan, 19, of Lombard with underage drinking. Jargalasaikhan drove a gold 2004 Toyota Corolla near the intersection of Butterfield Road and Legends Stret around 1:15 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

THURSDAY, AUG. 16

Underage Drinking

Police charged Angelica Smith, 18, of Dyersburg, TN, with underage drinking. Smith was cited in the 1100 block of Lyford Lane around 6:40 p.m., booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

TUESDAY, AUG. 14

Obstructing Officer, Illegal Alcohol Possession

Police charged Nicholas Popejoy, 18, of the 500 block of Evergreen Street in Wheaton on warrants for obstructing an officer and illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. He was arrested near the intersection of Evergreen and West streets around 11:40 p.m., booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.
