SUNDAY, AUG. 26

Wheaton Man Charged With DUI

Police charged Romeo Garcia-Sandoval, 31, of the north 100 block of Nepil in Wheaton with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a license. Garcia-Sandoval drove a maroon 1996 Chevy Blazer near the intersection of Liberty Drive and West Street around 12:20 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

DUI

Police charged John Fuechtmann, 30, of Westchester with driving under the influence of drugs. Fuechtmann drove a black 2008 Subaru near the intersection of Butterfield and Naperville roads around 1:20 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Driving Without a License

Police charged Timothy Currier, 28, of Carol Stream with driving without a license. Currier drove a black 2006 Cadillac STS-V near the intersection of Roosevelt and Lorraine roads around 9:20 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

FRIDAY, AUG. 24

Suspended License

Police charged Cara Thompson, 19, of the 200 block of Beverly Street in Wheaton with driving on a suspended license. Thompson drove a tan 1996 Toyota Camry near the intersection of Childs Street and Dorchester Avenue around 10 a.m. when police stopped her. She was released from the Wheaton Police Department later that morning.

Driving Without a License

Police charged Lorenzo Martinez, 45, of Glendale Heights with driving without a license. Martinez drove a silver 2005 Chrysler Town and Country near the intersection of Blanchard Street and Longfellow Drive around 1:45 a.m. when police stopped him. He was released from the Wheaton Police Department later that night.

THURSDAY, AUG. 23

Controlled Substances, Needles and Theft

Police charged Tyler Lane, 20, of the 1600 block of Farragut Court in Wheaton with felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, needles and theft. Police said the offense occurred in the 1600 block of Farragut Court around 2:40 p.m. Lane was arrested at the Wheaton Police Department around 1:25 a.m. Saturday, booked at the Wheaton Police Department and taken to DuPage County Jail later that night.  

Warrant, DUI

Police charged Megan Sanders, 25, of Elgin with a warrant for driving under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested at the Wheaton Police Department around 10:45 a.m. and released later that morning.

Suspended License

Police charged Carlos Trompisto, 26, of Winfield with driving on a suspended license. Trompisto drove a red 2000 Chrysler Town and Country near the intersection of Roosevelt and Shaffner roads around 10:50 p.m. when police stopped him. He was released from the police department later that night.

FTA Warrant

Police charged Adam Burazer, 26, of Lombard on an FTA warrant near the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Woodlawn around midnight. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 22

Warrant, Suspended License

Police charged Aaron Bruce, 20, of Elwood with an FTA warrant for driving on a suspended license. He was arrested at Will County Jail.
