Westmont Man Arrested in Wheaton Child Porn Case
Authorities say intensive investigation led to the arrest of Matthew W. Spencer, who faces six felony child pornography charges.
Police have arrested a Westmont, Ill. man on six felony counts of child pornography, the Wheaton Police Department announced Monday on the city’s website.
Matthew W. Spencer, 23, of Westmont, was arrested Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, after what authorities described as “an intensive undercover investigation.” which was conducted by the Wheaton Police Department and the DuPage County Sexual Predator Electronic Exploitation Division, also called SPEED.
The Wheaton Police Department booked Spencer, who then was transferred to the DuPage County Jail, where he was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
