West Chicago Man Followed Woman, Tried to Whisper in Her Ear: Police
The West Chicago man was arrested for disorderly conduct in River Forest, police said.
Hermant Patel, 21, of West Chicago, was arrested for disorderly conduct after he allegedly followed a female pedestrian from her place of work in Oak Park and attempted to whisper into her ear near the intersection of Lake Street and Harlem Avenue about 1:50 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11. River Forest police said the female tried to get away and flagged down a cab for help, after the offender followed and approached her.
Patel was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
