$3,500 Toy Machine Stolen, DUI Arrest: Police Blotter

TUESDAY, MARCH 26

Arrest Warrant - Retail Theft

Police charged Christopher J. Ferguson, 25, of the 2S100 block of Center Avenue in Wheaton with a warrant in connection to retail theft. Ferguson was arrested at 2 p.m. He was booked and released from the Wheaton Police Department later that day.

DUI

Police charged Laura L. Mauricio, 40, of the 700 block of Kensington Road, Glen Ellyn, with driving under the influence of alcohol. Mauricio was driving a red 1998 Ford Windstar at about 12:37 a.m. near the intersection of Butterfield Road and Cromwell Drive when police initiated a traffic stop. Mauricio was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

MONDAY, MARCH 25

$3,500 Toy Machine Snatched

Someone took a $3,500 toy dispensing machine from a business on the 1100 block of East Butterfield Road. The incident occurred sometime between 4 p.m. March 22 and noon March 23, according to a general manager of the store. The machine was located at the emergency exit door located in the hallway of the business.

Arrest Warrant - Public Official Threat

Police charged Stephen S. Bona, 49, of the 900 block of West Roscoe Street in Chicago with a warrant in connection to threatening a public official. Bona was arrested at 5:06 p.m. March 25. He was booked and released from the Wheaton Police Department later that evening.

TUESDAY, MARCH 19

Possession of Cannabis

Police charged Daniel E. Gallagher, 19, of the 2600 block of Bentley Court in Lisle with possession of cannabis. He was arrested at 9:20 p.m. near the intersection of Hazelton Avenue and Williams Street. He was released from the Wheaton Police Department later that night.
