Resident Reports Smashed Pumpkin, Broken Mailbox

A Wheaton resident in the 1400 block of Wilmette Street in Wheaton reported Sunday that someone smashed their pumpkin onto the mailbox, breaking the mailbox.

A resident in the 1400 block of Wilmette Street in Wheaton reported Sunday, Oct. 24 at around 9 a.m. that between Saturday, Oct. 23 at 11:59 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 24 at 4 a.m., someone removed a pumpkin from his front porch and smashed it on his mailbox, causing it to break off. The mailbox is estimated at $250.00, according to the police report.
