Sponsored by the DEA, the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.

Residents can drop off unwanted medications at:

  • Wheaton Police Department. 900 W. Liberty Drive, Wheaton, IL 60187
  • DuPage County Sheriff, 501 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton, IL 60187
The DEA cannot accept liquids, needles or sharps — only pills and patches.
