Police Report Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia Charges

Wheaton police reports, May 1-8

WEDNESDAY, MAY 8

Cannabis, Drug Paraphernalia

Police charged Uriel A. Ambrosio, 21, of the 1700 block of Woodcutter Lane in Wheaton with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license suspended. Ambrosio was driving a red 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe at 4:25 p.m. on the 1700 block of South Wiesbrook Road when police initiated a traffic stop. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and was released later that day.

TUESDAY, MAY 7

Cannabis Possession

  • Police charged Louis K. Curry, 21, of the 18300 block of Aberdeen Street in Homewood with possession of cannabis. Curry was arrested at 9:18 p.m. on the 1600 block of Briarcliffe Boulevard. He was then released from the scene.
  • Police charged Andre K. Gray, 19, of the first block of Wheaton Center in Wheaton with possession of cannabis. Gray was arrested at 7:30 p.m. at his residence and then released at the scene.

Drug Paraphernalia

Police charged Laney N. Kelsey, 18, of the 500 block of North Alfred Avenue in Elgin with possession of drug paraphernalia. She was arrested at 8:19 p.m. near the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Saddle and then released from the scene.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 1

Intent to Deliver Cannabis

Police charged Kevonta L. Mcintyre, 19, of the 1600 block of Briarcliffe Boulevard in Wheaton with possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was arrested at 11:28 p.m. at her residence and then released at the scene.
