Police Report Traffic, License Arrests

The following arrest reports were taken from the :

Police arrested Hong Ha Thi Le of Aurora for driving with no valid license and an improper turn at the intersection of Butterfield and East Loop roads Saturday, Oct. 8. Le, 23, drove a blue 2004 Acura near the intersection around 2:20 a.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police arrested Michael Vivirito of St. Charles for failure to appear for driving on a suspended license, driving on a suspended license and improper lane usage Saturday, Oct. 8. Vivirito, 32, drove a red 1997 Pontiac Bonneville near the intersection of Roosevelt and Naperville roads around midnight when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

Police arrested Lori Ortolano of the 400 block of Knollwood Drive in Wheaton for driving on a suspended license, suspended registration and no insurance Friday, Oct. 7. Ortolamo, 41, drove a silver 2008 Dodge Caliber near the intersection of Childs and Vernon streets around 1:40 a.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police arrested Maria Vargas-Plancarte of Lombard for driving with no valid license and a muffler violation Friday, Oct. 7. Vargas-Plancarte, 47, drove a black 1998 Honda Civic near the intersection of Main and Prairie streets around 3 a.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police arrested Edy Sanchez of Hanover Park for driving with no valid license near the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Westhaven Street Friday, Oct. 7. Sanchez, 45, drove a black 1998 Chevy near the intersection around 11 a.m. when police stopped him. He was released from the Wheaton Police Department later that morning.

Police arrested Sheryl Melborn of Warrenville for driving with no valid license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident Wednesday, Oct. 5. Melborn, 53, was stopped in the 900 block of Roosevelt Road around 1:45 p.m., booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that afternoon.

Police arrested Magali Martinez of West Chicago for driving with no valid license or insurance and speeding near the intersection of Butterfield Road and Legends Street Wednesday, Oct. 5. Martinez, 22, drove a silver 2006 Toyota Camry near the intersection around midnight when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

Police arrested Katherine Slattery of Glen Ellyn for driving on a suspended license Wednesday, Oct. 5. Slattery, 22, drove a green 2001 Subaru Legacy near the intersection of Lorraine and Roosevelt roads around 9:30 p.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.
