Police Report Suspicious Young Men in Wheaton

Wheaton police report suspicious activity after two men reportedly took two bikes from an open garage around 1:15 p.m. and drove away in a white truck.

Police are investigating reports of suspicious activity in Wheaton after witnesses reported a suspicious truck and several 16- to 22-year-old men walking in the area near Irving and Wakeman Avenue talking on cell phones, according to a press release from the .

Around 1:15 p.m. Friday, police responded to the suspicious activity call. Witnesses told police two of the men took two bikes from an open garage in the 700 block of Wakeman Avenue and drove south on President Street in the white truck.

Two of the men were wearing shorts and red T-shirts.
