Police Report Computers Stolen from Nursing Facility, Car and Store in Wheaton

Wheaton police report computers stolen from a nursing facility, a car parked outside a restaurant and Target.

Wheaton police reported the following thefts:

Someone stole computer equipment from a resident’s room at the Wheaton/DuPage County Convalescent Center, 400 County Farm Road between May 4 and Thursday, May 17.

Two people reported car break-ins at Cozymel’s restaurant in the 300 block of East Loop Road Monday, May 21, after someone stole a laptop and a backpack from a gray Nissan and a computer back from a black Subaru. According to the police report, someone broke the front passenger window to take the laptop and backpack from the Nissan between 6:30 and 7 p.m.

Someone stole a bike and helmet from a rack at the College Avenue train depot between 7:40 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 19. The bike and helmet are worth $525, police said.

Someone stole a $500 computer from Target, 601 County Farm Road between 11:05 and 11:40 a.m. Thursday, May 17.
