DUI

Police arrested Mark Skipton of Glen Ellyn for driving under the influence of alcohol Monday, March 12. Skipton, 35, drove a beige 2002 Chevy Cavalier in the 400 block of Roosevelt Road around 12 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police arrested Patrick Kelsch of the 700 block of Roosevelt Road in Wheaton for driving under the influence of alcohol Saturday, March 10. Kelsch, 31, drove a green 1995 Toyota near the intersection of Main Street and Roosevelt Road around 1 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police arrested Kathy Stearn of Winfield for driving under the influence of alcohol Saturday, March 10. Stearn, 53, drove a silver 2006 Hyundai near the intersection of Briarcliffe Boulevard and Butterfield Road around 12:30 a.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police arrested Joseph Kern of Lombard on a warrant for driving under the influence of alcohol Thursday, March 8. He was arrested at the Wheaton Police Department at 2:20 p.m., booked and released later that day.

License arrests

Police arrested Carlton Swanson of the 1600 block of Wiesbrook Road in Wheaton for driving with a suspended license Monday, March 12. Swanson, 22, drove a white 2001 Chevy 3500 near the intersection of Delles Street and Roosevelt Road around 4:30 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that day.

Police arrested Matthew Nowakowski of the north 0-100 block of Elmwood Street in Wheaton for driving with a revoked license Monday, March 12. Nowakowski, 60, drove a green 2000 Chevy Venture near the intersection of Gary Avenue and Geneva Road around 11:30 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that day.

Police arrested John Dewees of the 1500 block of Timber Trail in Wheaton for driving with a suspended license and a warrant for driving with a suspended license Thursday, March 8. Dewees, 60, drove a maroon 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora near the intersection of County Farm and Roosevelt roads at 5:45 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.
