Resisting, drugs, alcohol consumption

Police arrested four men for illegal alcohol consumption, resisting an officer and marijuana possession in the 2000 block of Roosevelt Road Friday, Feb. 3. Rahil Shermohamed, 20, of Glendale Heights was arrested for illegal alcohol consumption and resisting an officer. Kadeem Davis, 21, of the 2100 block of Roosevelt Road in Wheaton, was arrested for marijuana possession and resisting an officer. Orlando Ross, 20, also of the 2100 block of Roosevelt Road in Wheaton, was arrested for illegal alcohol possession, and Michael Morse, 18, of the 900 block of Tara Court in Wheaton, was arrested for illegal alcohol consumption. The four men were booked at the Wheaton Police Department around 3 a.m. and taken to DuPage County Jail.

Drugs

Police arrested Victor Leavell of the 200 block of Washington Street in Wheaton on a warrant for failure to appear for marijuana possession Tuesday, Feb. 7. Leavell, 19, drove a gray 1998 Chevy Malibu near the intersection of Illinois and President streets around 1 a.m. when police stopped him. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Police arrested Andrew Gross of the 100 block of Hunters Glen Drive in Wheaton for illegal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, illegal use of a weapon and illegal possession of drug paraphernalia Monday, Feb. 6. Gross, 21, drove a blue 1993 Ford Explorer near the intersection of Buena Vista Court and Lorraine Street around 9 p.m. when police stopped him.

Police issued a local ordinance citation to a 49-year-old Wheaton man for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia Sunday, Feb. 5. He was issued the citation around noon near the intersection of Blanchard Street and Hawkins and released on the scene.

Police issued local ordinance citations to an 18-year-old North Aurora woman for marijuana possession and psosesion of drug paraphernalia around 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3. She drove near the intersection of butterfield and Naperville roads around 10 p.m. when police stoped her. She was released on the scene

Police issued a local ordinance citation to a 20-year-old Gilberts, IL man for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia Friday, Feb. 3. He was cited near the intersection of West Street and Willow Avenue around 1:35 a.m. and released on the scene.
