Police Report 1 Arrest, 3 Citations for Marijuana

Police issued local ordinance citations for drug paraphernalia Monday, Dec. 4 to a Wheaton man, 61, and a Chicago man, 62. They were cited around 3:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Countryside Drive in Wheaton and released on the scene, police said.

Police arrested a West Chicago man for marijuana possession, driving on a suspended license and without insurance Saturday, Dec. 3. Vidal Avalos, 20, drove a silver 1999 Chevy Lumina near the intersection of Delles Street and Roosevelt Road around 10 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

Police issued a local ordinance citation to a 20-year-old Wheaton man for marijuana Saturday, Dec. 3. He was cited in the 1100 block of Bunker Hill Court around midnight and released on the scene, police said.
