Police Make Arrest for 2 Recent Burglaries

Police clear two recent burglaries in the 1400 and 1600 blocks of Stoddard.

The two burglaries reported in the 1400 and 1600 blocks of N. Stoddard have been cleared with the arrest of one juvenile male, according to a press release from the . Charges for residential burglary have been filed in juvenile court. The identity of the juvenile suspect cannot be released, police said.

On Oct. 9, 2011, during the late evening and early morning hours an unsecured garage was entered in the 1400 block of N. Stoddard. A bicycle and two mini-bikes were taken. On Oct. 10, 2011 during the evening hours, unknown suspects attempted to enter a home in the 1600 block of N. Stoddard by prying on the rear garage door. Entry was not gained.

On Oct. 22, 2011 during the hours of daylight, unknown suspects forced entry to a home in the 400 block of Longfellow Drive. No one was home at the time of the burglary. The suspects removed several pieces of jewelry.
