Someone broke into two cars parked in the 200 block of Blanchard Street to steal about $12 in coins between 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30 and 8:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Between about 10 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday, police said, someone broke into an unlocked Subaru in the 100 block of Blanchard Street and rummaged through the glove box and center console but didn’t take anything.
A resident in the 500 block of Blanchard Street in Wheaton reported someone broke into two of his cars parked in the driveway between 8:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30 and 12:15 a.m. Tuesday. Both cars, a 2010 Jeep Patriot and a 2005 Saturn Ion, were unlocked, police said. Nothing was reported missing.

Someone stole a wallet, IDs and an MP3 player from a Wheaton North student’s locked gym locker between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31.
Property damage
Someone kicked a hole in a garage door in the 500 block of Amy Lane in Wheaton between 9:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30 and 7 a.m. Tuesday. The cost of damage is about $300, police said.
