Police Charge Two in Aug. 4 Residential Burglary

Police arrest a Wheaton man and a Wheaton woman for the residential burglary that occurred in the 1300 block of Woodcutter Lane in Wheaton Thursday, Aug. 4.

Police arrested two Wheaton residents for an Aug. 4 residential burglary in the 1300 block of Woodcutter lane. Officers arrested Jatez Billups, 19, also of the 1300 block of Woodcutter lane in Wheaton at the scene of the burglary, according to a press release Tuesday. 

Continued investigation of the burglary led to the Aug. 8 arrest of Victoria Covington, 18, of the 1100 block of Bunker Hill Court in Wheaton.

Billips was charged with one count of residential burglary. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and transferred to DuPage County Jail, where he remains with a bond set at $100,000.

Covington was charged with one count of residential burglary./ She was booked at the DuPage County Jail, where she remains, also with a bond of $100,000.
