Thefts at school
A Wheaton Warrenville South student reported a stolen iPhone Monday, Nov. 14. According to the police report the student left her backpack unattended in the field house between 3 and 4:40 p.m. Monday and when she returned, the iPhone, woth $300, was missing.

A Wheaton Warrenville South student reported a stolen iTouch Thursday, Nov. 10. The student told police he left the iTouch, worth $200, in a classroom around 2 p.m. and when he returned to look for it at 2:15, it was gone.
A Wheaton Warrenville South student reported a stolen cell phone Wednesday, Nov. 2. The student said the phone, worth $120, may have fallen out of her pocket while she was walking to class. Between 11:15 and 11:38 a.m.

Thefts
Someone stole the purse that a woman set under her chair in Rice Lake Square to eat lunch around 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15. The black Coach purse, worth $150, contained a Vera Bradley item, worth $75, $80 cash and IDs and credit cards, police said.
Someone stole a Trek mountain bike that was left outside for five minutes Tuesday, Nov. 15. The bike owner left the bike unsecured around 10:25 a.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of Howard Street. When he returned at 10:30, the bike was gone, police said.
Damage to property
A resident in the 1900 block of Dorset Drive reported someone damaged their mailbox between 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16 and 8 a.m. Thursday. The back of the mailbox was dented and the pole was bent to the ground, police said. The cost of damage is $50.
Someone defaced concrete in the 1600 block of East Taft Street with black paint around 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2.
Someone smashed a mailbox in the 1700 block of LaPalma Court between 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31 and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1.
