Police Blotter: Wheaton Police Report Underage Drinking, Drug Arrests

Wheaton police reports, June 7-11.

MONDAY, JUNE 11

Underage Drinking

Police arrested Mark Diaz, 19, of the north 700 block of Morning Dove Court in Wheaton and charged him with underage drinking. Diaz was driving a black 2002 Jeep Cherokee near the intersection of Gary Avenue and Geneva Road around 1 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Marijuana Possession

Police arrested Kyle Clark, 18, of Lombard and charged him with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 300 block of Liberty Drive around 12:30 a.m. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Drug Equipment Citation

Police issued a local ordinance citation in connection with possession of drug equipment to a 23-year-old Chicago Ridge man near the intersection of Roosevelt Road and West Street around 2:30 a.m. He was released on the scene.

THURSDAY, JUNE 7

Drug Paraphernalia Charge

Police arrested David Romano, 22, of the 0-100 block of Maywood Trail in Wheaton and charged him with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was cited near the intersection of Main Street and Seminary Avenue around 2:30 a.m., booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.
