Police Blotter: Theft, Sept. 5-13
The following items were taken from the Wheaton police blotter.
Someone stole a bike that was left unlocked at CVS Pharmacy, 1400 Roosevelt Road around 7:40 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13. The grey Murray 10-speed is worth $130, according to the police report.
Someone stole an Apple iTouch from the girls locker room at Wheaton Warrenville South between 9:43 and 10:43 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13.
A resident in the 1800 block of Golden Pond Lane reported a stolen wallet and about $70 in cash after someone broke into their unlocked Ford Fusion between 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11 and 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12.

Someone stole a Blackberry from a Wheaton Warrenville South student’s unlocked gym locker between 6 and 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8.
Someone stole a Garmin GPS unit, its holder and a flashlight from a car parked at Wheaton North High School on curriculum night last Thursday, Sept. 8.

Someone stole pants, sunglasses and two golf clubs from a Ford Explorer while it was parked in a driveway in the 1500 block of Prairie Avenue last week. The theft occurred between 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7 and 11 a.m. Thursday, according to the police report. The items stolen included gray Joseph A. Banks pants, worth $200, Maui Jim sunglasses, worth $275 and two Taylor Made golf clubs, worth $280 and $230, police said.
Someone stole $200 and a pack of gum from an unlocked KIA Sportage in the 1400 block of Prairie Avenue between 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 5 and around 8 a.m. Tuesday morning.
