Police Blotter: Stolen Red Bull, Bikes and Car Parts

The following items are from the Wheaton police blotter.

Someone stole six bottles of Tide and four cases of Red Bull from Jewell in Danada Square West. According to the police report, a white male, described as approximately 6’0” and 175 pounds, with brown hair and wearing jeans and a blue- and white-striped shirt, walked out of the store with the shopping cart full of stolen items around noon Tuesday, July 12. The total cost of the stolen items is approximately $150.

Someone stole the ignition assembly parts of a Toyota Camry that was parked in the 300 block of President Street between 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 12 and 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 13. The total cost of the stolen items is $800, according to the police report.

Someone stole two Schwinn bicycles from the rack at the Wheaton Public Library between 1:45 and 1:55 p.m. Tuesday, July 12. Both of the bikes were dark green and worth $200, according to the police report.

Someone stole an unlocked bicycle that was left at the pool in the 1700 block of Blanchard Road between 2:00 and 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 13. The orange Mongoose BMX bike is worth $50, according to the police report.

Someone stole a brown leather wallet from an unlocked gym locker at Wheaton College, in the 600 block of Kenilworth Avenue between 8:00 and 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 13 The wallet, worth $15, had $20 in cash inside, police said.
