Police Blotter: Snowman Stolen, Cars Moved—but not Stolen

Someone stole a 4-foot plastic light-up snowman from the front yard of a house in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue between 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5 and 7 a.m. Tuesday.

A resident reported that someone moved their two cars from their previous spots in the 100 block of Morgan Avenue in Wheaton between 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30 and 5:30 a.m. Thursday. Nothing was missing from the vehicles, police said. During that same timeframe someone stole a Garmin GPS system and four cell phone chargers from two Ford SUVs parked in the 100 block of Morgan Street.

Someone stole a Garmin GPS unit from an unlocked 2006 Volvo parked in a driveway in the 800 block of Michigan Street between 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4 and 7 a.m. Monday.

Someone stole $8 cash from an unlocked Jeep Grand Cherokee parked in the 100 block of President Street between 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4 and 10 a.m. Monday.
