The license plate was removed from a silver 2011 Chevy Trailblazer parked in Danada Square West between 6 and 6:45 p.m.

Cell Phone Stolen at Garage Sale

Someone stole a $100 cell phone that was plugged into speakers at a garage sale in the 1000 block of Robbins Court between 11 a.m. and noon.

Bike Stolen

A $1,000 bike was taken from a garage in the 1600 block of Southampton Court between 8 p.m. Friday, July 27 and 9 a.m. Saturday.

FRIDAY, JULY 27

Forgery

A resident in the 1900 block of Cheshire reported forgery after someone sent him a fraudulent check from California for his car listed on craigslist.

Bikes Stolen

Someone stole two bikes, totaling $750, from a rack in the parking garage at the Apartments of Wheaton Center, 1 Wheaton Center, between July 11 and 3 p.m. Friday, July 27.

Break-in at Public Pool

Someone broke into Rice Lake Pool, 1777 Blanchard St., between 9 p.m. Thursday, July 26 and 11 a.m. Friday. Nothing was taken.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 25

Cell Phone Stolen

Someone stole a cell phone from the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College between 7 and 7:45 a.m.

TUESDAY, JULY 24

Purse, MP3 Player Stolen

Someone stole a purse and an MP3 player left on the ground outside Briar Glen School between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.

Restaurant Break-in, $2,500 Stolen

Someone stole $2,500 from the cash registers at a restaurant in the 900 block of Roosevelt Road between 11 p.m. Monday, July 23 and 5:30 a.m. Tuesday. According to the police report, an employee arrived at the business around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday and saw that the back door had been opened and both cash registers broken open on the floor.

MONDAY, JULY 23

External A/C Units Stolen

Someone took the external supply lines from two air conditioning units from a business in the 100 block of Bridge Street between 5 p.m. Sunday, July 22 and 11:30 a.m. Monday.

$3,100 in Tools Stolen from Carpenter's Van

Someone stole $3,100 in tools from a carpenter’s van parked in the 1600 block of Briarcliffe Boulevard between 5:30 p.m. Friday, July 20 and 6:30 a.m. Monday, July 23.

SUNDAY, JULY 22

$500 Stolen From Business Office

Someone stole $500 cash from the office of a business in the 300 block of Rice Lake Square between 3 p.m. Saturday, July 21 and 5:30 a.m. Sunday.

SATURDAY, JULY 21

$100 Stolen

Someone stole $100 cash in the 0-100 block of Danada Square East between 7:50 p.m. Friday, July 20 and 9 a.m. Saturday.
