Damage to property
When a Wheaton resident’s son borrowed the car to go to a friend’s house Saturday, Feb. 12, someone smashed the windshield of their Honda Accord with a milk bottle, poured milk on the roof and spread a mayonnaise-like substance on the windows. According to the police report, the car was parked on the street in the 300 block of Redwood Court, Wheaton, between 7 and 11 p.m. Saturday when the damage, estimated at $500, occurred.

Police arrested a Glen Ellyn woman for driving a 2001 Toyota Highlander under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at the intersection of Gary Avenue and Wesley Street Monday, Feb. 7. Zochil Mairena, 26, of the 400 block of Park Avenue, was arrested at around midnight Monday. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.
Possession: marijuana, drug paraphernalia

Police arrested a 22-year-old Batavia man for marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia Sunday, Feb. 6. Kyle Eggleston, 22, drove a black 2008 Nissan Altima near the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Wheaton Avenue at around 10 p.m. Sunday when police stopped him.
Possession: controlled substance and needle
Police arrested Kelly Jackson of Lombard for possession of a controlled substance and of a hypodermic needle Friday, Jan. 26. Jackson, 29, was arrested on a warrant at the Daley Center in Chicago at 3 p.m. Jan. 26. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and taken to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office.
