Someone stole a framed picture of Wheaton College President Phillip Ryken from the main hallway of the Beamer Center, 421 Chase Street, over a weekend in late May. According to the police report, Wheaton College Public Safety reported Wednesday, May 25, that someone took the 4’ by 3’ picture, worth $1,000, from the wall of the main hallway on the lower level of the Beamer Center between 3 p.m. Friday, May 20 and 3 p.m. Monday, May 23. Police found no signs of forced entry, as the center was open between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. over the weekend, according to the police report.

Someone scratched the siding of a Wheaton College trailer on the west end of campus Monday, May 23. Wheaton College Public Safety reported criminal defacement and $150 in damages, according to the report.
