Phones, Cash Stolen from Unlocked Apartment
A resident in the 0-100 block of Kensington Circle reported a burglary after someone stole $450 in cell phones and $40 cash. According to the police report, the intruder entered the unlocked apartment between 3:45 and 5 p.m. and took two phones and cash.

Shots Through Window
Someone shot small pellets through three windows at Church of the Resurrection in the 900 block of Union Avenue in Wheaton between 5 p.m. Sunday, May 20 and 9 a.m. Friday, May 25. According to the police report, the cost of damage is $600.

Stolen Car Part
Someone stole a $2,000 car part from a 2004 Lexus RX parked in the garage at the Wheaton Center Apartments between Saturday, May 12 and Thursday, May 24. According to the police report, the car’s owner started the car May 24 and heard a loud sound from the exhaust system. He checked the car and saw the catalytic converter had been “cleanly cut” from under the car.

Cell Phone Taken
Someone stole a $50 cell phone left unattended in the 700 block of Liberty Drive between 11 and 11:30 a.m.
TUESDAY, MAY 22
Car Part Stolen
Someone cut the catalytic converter from under a silver 2004 Dodge Stratus in a parking garage in the 400 block of Cross Street between 7:45 a.m. and 4:15 p.m.
Liquid Poured in Gas Tank
Someone poured an unknown substance into the gas tank of a blue 2004 Kia Sorento parked in the 600 block of County Farm Road in Wheaton between 7:45 and 11:30 a.m.
