A Wheaton resident returned from the airport to her home in the 1800 block of Golden Pond on Saturday, Apr. 2, to find plastic bags from the glove box of her Acura MDX on the driveway. She thought nothing of it until Monday, when a neighbor told her they had found an Acura MDX owner’s manual in their front bushes. The resident checked the car and found that in addition to the manual, CD’s, an umbrella and the valet key to the car had been taken. The neighbor further explained that they heard a loud “thud” against the house late Saturday night, but didn’t see anyone, police said.
