Police Blotter: Man Cited for Stealing Checkbook, Marijuana Possession

Man Charged with Theft, Possession

Police arrested a Chicago man on a felony theft charge for allegedly stealing a checkbook and having marijuana at Panda Express, 264 Danada Square West. Darryl Patrick, 49, was cited at the restaurant around 7 p.m., booked at the Wheaton Police Department and transferred to DuPage County Jail that night.

Man Cited for Marijuana

Police issued a local ordinance citation to a 19-year-old Warrenville man for alleged possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He drove a blue Ford Explorer near the intersection of Route 56 and Orchard Road around 3 a.m. when police stopped him. He was released on the scene.

Woman Faces Marijuana, One Other Charge

Police arrested an Aurora woman for allegedly driving on a suspended license and marijuana possession. Toni Grant, 23, drove a blue 1995 Chevy Blazer near the intersection of Main and Hawthorne streets around 1:30 a.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Wheaton Man Cited for Marijuana

Police issued a local ordinance citation to a 24-year-old Wheaton man for alleged marijuana possession in the 600 block of Park Avenue around 9:45 p.m. He was released on the scene.

Marijuana Citation at Blanchard and Roosevelt

Police issued local ordinance citations to a 28-year-old West Chicago man for alleged possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was cited near the intersection of Blanchard Street and Roosevelt Road around 10 p.m. and released on the scene.
