Police Blotter: Graffiti at Middle School, Broken Window at High School and More

The following items were taken from the Wheaton police blotter.

Grafitti

Someone spray painted a set of eyes and the words, “THEY STAND ALONE” above one of the doors at Edison Middle School. They also painted images of a fish, a tree and the letters, “FRELA” west of it. Police investigated the graffiti around 10 p.m. Saturday, Jun. 25. The total cost of damage is $800, according to the police report.

The same night, police responded to reports that someone spray painted "Toff" on the outside of the restroom building at Seven Gables Park, 1750 Naperville Road. According to the report, the incident occurred between 10 p.m. Saturday, Jun. 25 and 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

On Monday, Jun. 27, someone spray painted a manhole cover on Childs Street between Dorchester Road and Pierce Street around 9 a.m., police said.
