Police Blotter: DUI, Suspended License, Drugs

The following items were taken from the Wheaton police blotter.

DUI

Police arrested a Bolingbrook woman for driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage at 3 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 19. Nicole Hixon, 23, of the 1000 block of Crestwood Lane in Bolingbrook, was arrested near the intersection of Naperville and Butterfield Roads, where she drove a black 2006 Ford Focus. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Suspended license

Police arrested Karrie Sembdner. 32, of Carol Stream for driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle and improper lane usage Sunday, Feb. 19. She was arrested at the intersection of Harrison and Main streets at 7:26 a.m. Sunday. 

Drugs

Police arrested a 26-year-old Carol Stream man for possession of drug paraphernalia, no valid driver’s license and an improper turn Monday, Feb. 20. Cortes, 26, drove a white 2000 Dodge Intrepid near the intersection of Bloomingdale and Geneva roads at around 12:30 a.m. Monday when police stopped him. He was released on the scene.
