Police Blotter: DUI, Resisting Officer and Property Damage

The following items were taken from the Wheaton police blotter.

Police arrested Troy Beavers of 0n461 Ellis Ave, Wheaton, for a DuPage County Sherriff’s warrant for resisting a peace officer and criminal damage to property Thursday, Jan. 20. He was arrested at his home on Ellis Avenue in Wheaton at 2:31 p.m. and taken to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office.

Police arrested a Plainfield man for driving under the influence of drugs and an improper turn Friday, Jan. 21. Randy Lemon, 18, drove a green 2000 Pontiac Grand Am near the intersection of Naperville and Roosevelt Roads around midnight Friday when police stopped him for an improper turn. Police arrested him at the intersection of Elm Street and Naperville Road. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.
