SUNDAY, AUG. 12

Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia

Police issued local ordinance citations for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia to David Schumm, 23, of the 2000 block of Sherwood Place in Wheaton. He was cited in the 1900 block of Cromwell Drive around 2 a.m., booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Marijuana Possession

Police issued a local ordinance citation to a 26-year-old Naperville man for marijuana possession. He was cited near the intersection of Crescent and Washington streets around midnight and released on the scene.

Suspended License

Police charged Philip Adjapong, 25, of Bolingbrook with driving on a suspended license. He drove a green 1998 Nissan Maxima near the intersection of Danada Drive and Naperville Road around 11:30 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

THURSDAY, AUG. 9

DUI, Drugs

Police charged a Harvey man with driving under the influence of drugs and marijuana possession, and issued a local ordinance citation to a 24-year-old Wheaton man for marijuana possession. David Carter, 24, of Harvey, drove a beige 2001 Nissan Maxima near the intersection of Liberty Drive and Washington Street around 12:20 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning. The Wheaton man was released on the scene.

Police Report 2 License Charges

  • Police charged Michael Strelak, 25, of Downers Grove with driving on a suspended license. He drove a silver 2011 Pontiac G-6 near the intersection of Roosevelt and Lorraine roads around 8:30 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.
  • Police charged Jorge Barrera-Colin, 32, of Streamwood with driving without a license. He drove a white 2002 Nissan near the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Gables Boulevard around 5 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 8

Suspended License

Police charged Jordan Betker, 21, of Beloit, Wis., with driving on a suspended license. He drove a silver 2009 Grand Prix near the intersection of President Street and Roosevelt Road around 10:40 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that day.

SUNDAY, AUG. 5

DUI, Drug Possession

Police charged Lisania Santos, 20, of Lombard with driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol and marijuana possession. Santose drove a blue 1998 Saturn near the intersection of Delles Street and Roosevelt Road around 1:45 a.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Marijuana Citation

Police issued a local ordinance citation for marijuana possession to a 22-year-old Wheaton man. He was cited near the intersection of Elm Street and Naperville Road around 11:50 p.m. and released on the scene.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 1

Drug Paraphernalia

Police issued a local ordinance citation for possession of drug paraphernalia to a 21-year-old Wheaton man. He was cited near the intersection of Park and Wheaton avenues around 11:55 p.m. and released on the scene.
