MONDAY, JULY 23

Glen Ellyn Woman Charged with DUI

Police charged Tatyana Chuprikova of Glen Ellyn with driving under the influence of alcohol. Chuprikova, 24, drove a gray 2001 Chevy Silverado near the intersection of Naperville and Roosevelt roads around 1 a.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

SUNDAY, JULY 22

Wheaton Man Charged with DUI, Drug Equipment

Police charged Eric Avila, 20, of the 1000 block of Wheaton Place, Wheaton with driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of drug equipment, including a one-hitter and rolling papers. Avila drove a green 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee near the intersection of Naperville Road and Park Avenue around 12:45 a.m. when police stopped him for a turn violation. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

DUI, Marijuana and Drug Equipment

Police charged a 30-year-old West Chicago man with driving under the influence of alcohol, marijuana possession and possession of drug equipment. He drove a silver 2011 Nissan sedan near the intersection of Greenwood and Roosevelt roads around 1:10 a.m. when police stopped him. He was released at the scene.

SATURDAY, JULY 21

Police Report 2 DUI Charges

• Police charged Kuber Kaura, 30, of Naperville with driving under the influence of alcohol. Kaura drove a black 2004 Toyota Camry near the intersection of Danada Drive and Naperville Road around 10:40 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.
• Police charged Kayla Zawislak of Glen Ellyn with driving under the influence of alcohol, marijuana possession and possession of drug equipment. Zawislak, 23, drove a gray 1999 Ford Contour near the intersection of Lorraine Road and Pershing Street around 1:18 a.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.
