Police Blotter: DUI Arrests and More

The following items were taken from the Wheaton police blotter.

Police arrested a 26-year-old Lisle woman for driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle and failure to yield on a left turn Monday, May 30. Police stopped Stacy Schannon in a white 2004 Buick Rendezvous near the intersection of Washington Street and Willow Avenue at 1:34 a.m. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police arrested 30-year-old Jeffrey Jones of Wheaton for driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding near the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Carlton Street Sunday, May 29. Police stopped Jones, who lives in the 100 block of Knollwood Drive in Wheaton, in a red 2007 Ford Ranger at 9:25 p.m. Sunday. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

Police arrested a Chicago man for driving an uninsured vehicle with no valid registration on a suspended license and improper lane usage near the intersection of Polo Court and Roosevelt Road Tuesday, May 24. Police stopped James Jones, 63, in a red 1998 Chevy Astro Van around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police arrested Victor Tovar-Montalvo of the 400 block of Hale Street, Wheaton for driving with no valid license, improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident in the 200 block of Illinois Street Monday, May 23. Police stopped Tovar-Montalvo, 20, in a tan 1998 Chevy Cavalier around 11:30 p.m. Monday. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
