Police Blotter: DUI, Alcohol and License Arrest

The following arrest reports were taken from the :

Christopher Cucinello, 19, of the 1000 block of James Court, Wheaton, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for illegal possession of alcohol Wednesday, Sept. 14. He was arrested around 7 p.m. Wednesday and released that night.

Paul Klefeker, of the 800 block of Michigan Avenue, Wheaton, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, no valid driver’s license, no insurance, no registration and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14. Klefeker, 59, drove a green Toyota Camry near the intersection of Roosevelt Road and West Street early Wednesday. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Arturo Barrera, of the 2000 block of Roosevelt Road, Wheaton, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, driving on a suspended license, illegal possession of alcohol and speeding on Saturday, Sept. 17. Barrera, 20, drove a gray Chevy Malibu in the 600 block of Roosevelt Road around 2 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

A Wheaton man, 55, was arrested Thursday, Sept. 15 for driving on a suspended license and illegal license use. He was stopped driving near Front and West streets in downtown Wheaton around 4 p.m. and released on the scene.
