Police Blotter: Driving Woes on the Roads

The following arrest reports were taken from the Wheaton police blotter.

DUI

Michael Kushta, 33, 1600 block of Briarcliffe, Wheaton, was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage after a traffic stop around 2:35 a.m. on Aug. 28 near Butterfield Road and Briarbrook Drive, police said.

Ian Hogan, 28, 2000 block of North Summit Street, Wheaton, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a traffic stop at Prairie Avenue and Irving Street around 1 a.m. on Aug. 26, police said.

Traffic Offenses

Antonio Hopkins, 25, of Chicago, was charged with driving with a revoked license, no insurance and improper lane usage after a traffic stop near Roosevelt Road and West Street around 8:15 a.m. on Aug. 29.

Peter Bojovic, 26, of St. Charles, was charged with driving with a suspended license, no insurance and driving with a suspended registration after police stopped him near Gables Boulevard and Roosevelt Road around 8:45 p.m. on Aug. 26.

Vincent Diorio, 25, of Carol Stream, was charged with driving with a suspended license and parking in a handicapped zone after police observed him parked at a DuPage County government building around 9:15 a.m. on Aug. 25.
