Hose Runs for 2 Days, Floods Yard

Someone flooded a resident’s yard in the 500 block of Wesley Street in Wheaton between 5 p.m. Thursday, May 31 and 1 p.m. Saturday, Jun. 2. According to the police report someone put the resident’s garden hose into a window well, turned the water on and left the hose running for two days. The cost of damage is about $200-$400, police said.

Brick Thrown Through Corvette Window

Someone threw a brick through the window of a blue 2008 Corvette parked in the garage at the Wheaton Center Apartments between 8 p.m. Thursday, May 31 and 6:30 p.m. Friday.

Part Cut from Car

A catalytic converter was removed from underneath a black 2009 Toyota Rav4 parked in the downtown Wheaton parking garage between 10 p.m. Monday, May 28 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 29.

Shot Through Window

Someone shot a BB through a resident’s window in the 600 block of Elmwood Drive around 10 p.m. The cost of damage is $300, police said.
