Police Blotter: Battery, License and Theft Arrests

Police arrested Jennifer Ostrom of the 2000 block of Somerset Lane in Wheaton for battery and illegal consumption of alcohol at 6 a.m. Friday, May 20. Police arrested Ostrom, 19, at One Wheaton Center at 6:30 a.m. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police arrested a 40-year-old Carpentersville man for driving on a suspended license and failure to yield at a left turn Tuesday, May 17. Police stopped John Ng in a gray 2004 Lexus near the intersection of Geneva Road and Main Street around 5 p.m. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that evening. 

Police arrested Zekija Babic of the 700 block of Liberty Drive, Wheaton, on warrants for failure to appear for theft of service and failure to appear for criminal damage Tuesday, May 17. Babic, 26, was arrested in the 1500 block of Main Street at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday and taken to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office.
