Police Blotter: Arrests Made for Weapons, DUI, Trespassing

The following arrest reports were taken from the Wheaton police blotter.

Police arrested Raymond Campagna of the 200 block of Kenilworth Avenue in Glen Ellyn for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful use of a weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia Friday, Aug. 12. Campagna, 57, drove a light blue 1992 Dodge Minivan near the intersection of Taft and Prospect streets around 9:30 p.m. in Wheaton when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and taken to DuPage County Jail that night.

Police arrested James Douthard of the 400 block of Delles Road in Wheaton for aggravated driving under the influence, improper lane usage, speeding, a wrong turn and operating an uninsured vehicle Thursday, Aug. 11. Douthard, 38, drove a white Ford Expedition near the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Hale Street around 2 a.m. Thursday when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department at 10:15 a.m. and taken to DuPage County Jail later that morning.

Police issued a local ordinance citation to a 21-year-old Wheaton man for possession of drug paraphernalia at the intersection of Warrenville Road and Elm Street Wednesday, Aug. 10. He was stopped while driving near the intersection around 9 p.m. and released on the scene.
