Police Blotter: Arrests for Warrants, Driving With Suspended License

The following items were taken from the Wheaton police blotter last week.

Driving while license suspended

Police arrested Curtis Bonds for failure to appear for driving while license suspended Saturday, Feb. 5. Bonds, 20, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. at his home in the 1600 block of Leytonstone Drive, Wheaton. He was taken to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office and the case was taken to bond court.

 Police arrested a Chicago man for a warrant for driving while license suspended Monday, Jan. 31. Carlos Vasquez, 23, was arrested at the Kane County Jail at 6 p.m. Monday. He was booked at the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office and released soon after.

Police arrested Connell O’Brien of Warrenville for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle Sunday, Jan. 30. O’Brien, 18, drove a silver 2000 Chevy Impala near the intersection of Butterfield and Orchard roads when police stopped him. He was arrested on the scene, booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released that afternoon.

No valid license

Police arrested a Westmont man for no valid driver’s license Thursday, Feb. 3. Maurillo Villograna-Carrillo, 23, drove a silver 2000 Plymouth Neon near the intersection of Delles Street and Roosevelt Road at 2 p.m. when police stopped him. He was released from the Wheaton police department later that afternoon.
