Blotter: Arrests For Criminal Damage To Property, DUI

The following items were taken from the Wheaton police blotter.

Armed man arrested for reckless conduct, aggravated assault

Police arrested an armed Wheaton man at his home in the 300 block of Western Avenue for reckless conduct and aggravated assault Monday, Feb. 7. According to the police report, Michael Burk, 34, was arrested at 2:16 a.m. Monday and taken to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office. He is no longer held there.

Criminal damage to property

Police arrested a Wheaton man for vandalizing a white 2001 Hyundai Tuburon in the 800 block of Dawes Street in Wheaton on Sunday, Feb. 6. Andrew McReynolds, 20, who also lives in the 800 block of Dawes Street, was arrested at 6:51 p.m. Sunday, booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released that night.

Police arrested [Name Withheld] of Wheaton, for reckless conduct and criminal damage to property Sunday, Feb. 13. [Name Withheld], 18, committed the offense at his home at around 7 a.m. Sunday and was arrested in the 0-100 block of East Loop Road at around 8 a.m. Sunday. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released that morning.

DUI

Police arrested Kimberly Mills of the 800 block of Brighton Drive, Wheaton, for driving under the influence of alcohol and an improper turn at an intersection Monday, Feb. 14. Mills, 28, drove a red 2004 Oldsmobile Alero near the intersection of Hale Street and Liberty Drive at around 4:30 a.m. Monday. She was arrested at the intersection of Hale Street and Willow Avenue, booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.
