Police Arrest Wheaton Man for Stealing Cell Phone, Carol Stream Woman for Stealing Liquor

Theft

Police arrested Robert Gee of Wheaton for reportedly stealing someone's $700 cell phone Wednesday, Apr. 4. Gee, 43, of the 1300 block of Roosevelt Road, was arrested at his home around 10:15 a.m. for the theft that occurred between 10:30 p.m. Apr. 2 and 9:30 a.,m. Apr. 3 in the 600 block of Kenilworth in Wheaton. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police arrested a Carol Stream woman for possession of a controlled substance, stealing $24 in liquor from Jewel Osco, and a warrant for battery and obstructing justice Tuesday, Apr. 3. Augusta Pettaway, 49, was arrested at 720 p.m. in the 500 block of schmale road and taken to DuPage County Jail.

Police issued a local ordinance citation for marijuana possession to a West Chicago man Monday, Apr. 9. He was cited near the intersection of Roosevelt and County Farm roads and released on the scene.

Police issued a local ordinance citation to a 26-year-old Wheaton man for possession of drug paraphernalia Monday, Apr. 9. He was cited in the 1200 block of Wilson Avenue around 3 a.m. and released on the scene.
