Police Arrest Wheaton Man, 59, for Child Pornography

John Diebold, 59, of the 300 block of Gables Street arrested Tuesday for child pornography possession.

Police arrested a Wheaton man Tuesday for aggravated possession and disemination of child pornography, according to a press release from the .

John Diebold, 59, of the 300 block of Gables Street in Wheaton, faces three counts of aggravated child pornography, including two counts for possession and one count for dissemination, Wheaton Deputy Police Chief Tom Meloni said.

The arrest was made after an undercover investigation was conducted by detectives of the Wheaton Police Department, according to the release.

Diebold was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and transferred Tuesday to the DuPage County Jail, where he remains with a $200,000 bond, according to the release.
