Police Report 9 Arrests for Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia Possession

The following reports are from the Wheaton Police Department.

Police issued local ordinance citations Saturday, Jan. 7 to three Wheaton men, 19, 20 and 21, for marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1900 block of Lancaster Court. They were cited around 6:45 p.m. and released on the scene, police said.

Police arrested a Wheaton man for driving with an invalid license, possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana possession Wednesday, Jan. 4. Peter Valez, 30, of the 1300 block of Main Stret, drove an orange 2007 Dodge Nitro near the intersection of Cross Street and Seminary Avenue around 3 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that day.

Police arrested a 22-year-old West Chicago man and a 24-year-old Aurora man for marijuana possession Wednesday, Jan. 4. Jesus Favela, 22, of West Chicago, was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Aldo Marrufo, 24, of Aurora was charged with possession. The men were arrested around 1 a.m. near the intersection of Roosevelt and Warrenville Roads, booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police issued a local ordinance citation to a Winfield woman for possession of drug paraphernalia Tuesday, Jan. 3. She was cited near the intersection of Geneva Road and Woodlawn Street around 2 a.m. and released on the scene.
