No Life-Threatening Injuries in Crash on Geneva Road

One driver extricated from car and other cited for failure to yield in crash at Main Street and Geneva Road Wednesday morning.

Two drivers were taken to the hospital with no life-threatening injuries Wednesday after a Nissan Maxima crashed into a Honda minivan near the intersection of Main Street and Geneva Road around 9 a.m.

One driver had to be extricated from the vehicle due to extensive damage to the car, officials said, and one driver was cited for failure to yield from a private drive.

The Maxima, headed west on Geneva Road, hit the minivan as it pulled to turn left out of the PNC Bank parking lot on Geneva Road, destroying its front end and the driver's side door of the van. Both drivers were alone in their cars.
